about us..
The Deerfield High School Magazine is new to DHS as of the 2017-18 school year! Created by Adriana Reine as her senior project alongside with Addie Ritsch. The goals of DHSM is to fulfill an environment in the walls of the high school for every student to have a voice and to participate where their creativity needs are encouraged.
To join DHSM, simply attend our meetings in Mr. Kramper's room every Friday! We are looking for any student to join us for a diverse club in the hands of the students. Participation is key to the success of this club.
President/Executive Producer
Adriana Reine
I am currently a senior. I created this club as my senior project. But a little more about me is that I plan on continuing my education at a UW school and double majoring in Broad Field Social Studies Education and Political Science. I have two jobs at two different Italian Resturants and I intend on going to Nationals for National History Day this year! Yay.
Vice President
Addie Ritsch
I am a senior this year. Like Adriana, I am helping create this club as my senior project. I am looking forward to seeing the creative outcomes of those who decide to join! Aside from this club I will be participating in Volleyball and Track this year as well. I'm excited to see what my last year at Deerfield High School brings!
Secretary
Matthias Zaldumbide
Hi everyone! I'm Matthias and I'm a senior here at Deerfield. This will be my senior project as well as Adriana and Addie's. I play soccer for CDU as well. I am very excited to be invested in this magazine, and I can't wait to see the finished results!
Marketer
Amanda Farnsworth
I am a junior this year. I would like to continue my education at UW-Whitewater for political science or history and possibly further it even more at UW-Madison or University of Chicago. I am on the fall dance team and a track & field manager. I also intend to do a National History Day project this year as well.
Treasurer
Denisse Duarte
I am going to be a sophomore this year. I think that the Deerfield magazine is going to show how talented some students are. I am hoping to go to UW-Madison and try to study abroad. Throughout the school year I participate in volleyball, wrestling, and soccer.
Club Adviser
Mr. Kramper
DHS's very own Social Studies teacher. Enjoys cracking jokes that can either be painful or enjoyable. Coaches middle school basketball. Looking forward to what DHS Magazine will bring this year!
